Overview:
Creative Exploration Lab is designed for young adults ready to dive deep into their own artistic voice. This 6-month, once-a-week 60-minute intensive session is all about guided exploration. Each week, we’ll experiment with new topics, mediums, and approaches, giving you the tools and inspiration to develop your personal practice. Outside of class, students will continue independent exploration, integrating lessons and self-directed experiments into their own creative journey. Classes are ongoing; you can continue month-to-month after the 6-month core.

Month 1: Introduction & exploratory exercises; trying multiple mediums (watercolor, charcoal, ink, mixed media)
Month 2: Conceptual focus; storytelling, abstraction, and emotional expression
Month 3: Material experimentation; non-traditional mediums and techniques
Month 4: Collaborative exercises and peer critiques; developing a personal voice
Month 5: Mini-projects; integrating multiple techniques into cohesive work
Month 6: Capstone exploration; personal projects presented for feedback and reflection
